Project in progress: New office Building Jan de Nul (Belgium)
Belgian family company Jan de Nul - active worldwide in dredging, offshore wind turbine construction, general contracting and project development - is currently in the process of expanding their new 10,000m² office building located in Hofstade/Aalst.
A prime example of how innovation and energy efficiency can shape the future of business operations.
Innovation powers sustainability
Jan de Nul's strategy is clear: innovation and energy are key, not only in their daily operations but also in the design of this modern building. The new office building will be constructed with 7 above-ground levels and will feature a BEO-field (Ground Energy Storage), where the earth acts as a thermal battery.
Our Contribution to the Project
For this ambitious project, Beddeleem is supplying 1,600 m² of JB PURE partitions and 145 JB PURE doors. The modular partition system offers not only aesthetic value with its clean lines and minimalist profile sections, but also advanced acoustic performance, which is crucial for creating a peaceful working environment.
Additionally, Beddeleem is providing the climate ceilings for the office spaces, custom-designed according to the plans of architect Jaspers-Eyers. The system consists of independent, climate-controlled ceiling islands that fit seamlessly into the design. The space between the ceiling islands will be filled with metal panels and lighting, with the LEDs subtly visible to create a sleek, uniform look.
The relaxation areas are executed with an open ceiling consisting of long strips in felt combined with an overhead air-conditioned ceiling.
