QUATUOR | L'ORÉAL
Client : Design Plus on behalf of L'Oréal
Architects : Design Plus
Location : Brussels - Quatuor building
Year of completion : 2024
L'Oréal recently opened its new offices in the iconic Quatuor building in Brussels. This high-profile project not only exemplifies modern design, but also sustainability and employee well-being. The design of the offices is inspired by L'Oréal's rich colour palette of maquillage, resulting in a unique and recognisable aesthetic and perfectly reflecting the brand identity.
The two floors occupied by L'Oreal are divided into two distinct zones, each with its own unique function and atmosphere.
The first zone is aimed more at the ‘general’ public, including reception, barista/coffee bar, Meet&Eat and L'Oréal Academy. These artistic and inviting spaces are designed to promote both interactive and inspirational aspects.
The second zone focuses more on employees and is organised according to the cosmetics brand's four divisions. Collaboration and flexibility are the keywords here. The numerous small meeting units, as well as the three large meeting rooms, are built according to the modular principle, and can thus always be adapted to specific needs, such as training courses or team meetings.
Beddeleem was called in for the full implementation of this exceptional project.
It was responsible for the production, delivery and installation of:
JB PURE 100
JB 2000
JB 2000 Doors
Various JB OFFICE solutions: JB Whiteboards and JB Absorb (acoustic solutions)
Beddeleem was also responsible for the coordination and implementation of a wide range of interior finishes, including:
- Flooring (carpet and vinyl)
- Bespoke furniture (entrance desk, bar and kitchenettes, IT kiosk, lockers, bespoke cabinets, etc.)
- Painting works
- Installation of Belgian Blue Stone (Carrières du Hainaut)
- Printed foils on panels
Tight timings and complexity partly due to the special customisation, round finishes and unique choices in materials typified this exceptional project. Beddeleem is therefore particularly proud to take on these challenges and pass them successfully.
The design of the new offices was provided by the architectural firm Designplus, which excellently succeeded in harmoniously translating L'Oréal's vision of sustainability, innovation and well-being of their employees into the working environment.
