Beddeleem goes BIM

Beddeleem is providing BIM models of all its products and systems.

If necessary, we can also integrate our project in the general BIM model for your specific construction project. BIM is a method for digitalising a construction project. Beddeleem is, of course, participating in this new way of collaborating.

What is BIM?

BIM is a new way of working (together) which is experiencing increasing success. A growing number of large and small companies are applying BIM to their construction projects.

Construction companies are under pressure when implementing their projects. The pace of work increases constantly, quality is a given and budgets are often tight. Sometimes things might go wrong during implementation, due to a fragmented construction process, miscommunication between the different partners and technical complexity. BIM is a solution. BIM makes it possible to organise the construction process more effectively and collaborate via interchangeable digital construction models.

There is no uniform definition for BIM. For some, it stands for "Building Information Modelling" (making digital construction models), others see it as being "Building Information Model". But increasingly it is starting to represent "Building Information Management" (the management and exchange of information).

BIM can be used in the different phases of a construction project (quotation and order, site preparation, purchasing, implementation, follow-up after completion of the work).
