'Konrad Adenauer', new offices European Parliament in Luxembourg

Beddeleem is proud to announce that it is involved in the finishing of the new offices for the European Parliament building 'Konrad Adenauer' in Luxembourg. Beddeleem will be installing 27,500 m² of JB® walls, of which 11,000 m² are glass partitions and 1,030 door units.

The new European Parliament building is named after the first Federal Chancellor of the former West Germany. Konrad Adenauer is one of the most eminent figures of European history. Europe as we now know it would not have been possible without the trust that Adenauer was able to inspire in other European countries via his consistent foreign policy.

The building will be very significant for the European institutions in Luxembourg. With a total area of 250,000 m², the new complex will accommodate 3000 offices, 10 meeting rooms and 4 video-conference rooms. This will enable a centralisation of various services which are currently split between various buildings.

The architects involved are Art & Build (B), Tetra Kayser (LU), Studio Valle (IT), Heinle, Wischer und Partner and Frei Architekten (D).
