Contest: ‘Het Snelste Bedrijf’

A fun and original team building event in which you simultaneously support a good cause - yes we can!

This year, 18 teams competed in Oudenaarde for the title of ‘Het Snelste Bedrijf’* (The Fastest Company). Participants gathered in this cycling town for a fun afternoon.

They gave their very best in the 3 parts of the event:

1. Climbing up the Oude Kwaremont slope

The aim was to climb the Oude Kwaremont as fast as possible; the time when the first cyclist in the team crosses the finish line was the one that counted.

2. Team time trial in the Flemish Ardennes

the teams rode a stretch of about 21 km between Oudenaarde and Kluisbergen. Beddeleem achieved a fine time of 31’01”.

3. Sprint your heart out on rollers

This most recent part of the event was also the most spectacular. Each team sprinted their hearts out to come first at the finish line. Our colleague Matthias came in a close second, a very fine performance!

Beddeleem came in 8th this year, and we are very proud of the result. Back again next year?

* 'Het Snelste Bedrijf' is a unique event launched by VOF The Sherwood Kompanie and supports social projects by the Vanakam and BiJeVa non-profit organizations.
