Beddeleem responds to office trends in corona times

Your working environment will never be the same again...

This is one of the many conclusions that will be drawn after the current crisis. Although we have been experimenting with a different way of working for years, and although the classic "open space" working environment is losing its popularity, this crisis will undoubtedly have a lasting influence on our working environment.

The loss of popularity of classic open space offices is not surprising. Staff complain about concentration problems, poor acoustics, unsuitable air-conditioning, ... which leads to reduced profitability.

The evolution towards more targeted space design, such as war rooms, telephone booths, concentration booths, bubbles, ... was therefore a logical consequence. This trend is now reinforced by the current crisis. There is a need for suitable products such as smarter meeting furniture and adapted top panels for double desks, for appropriate sizes for shared offices or for more individual offices.

Beddeleem also closely follows these new directions and applies them within its own organization and product range.

Even the extension and renovation of our existing offices are now being adapted again due to recent events. Staff members can, if they wish, isolate themselves in specially designed rooms, easily connect on spacious desks that guarantee sufficient distance,...

Even in these difficult times, Beddeleem does not want to give up flexibility towards project- and customer-specific solutions. That is why we have not been idle for the past few weeks.
