DIGIPOLIS | Den Bell
Client : AG VESPA
Architects : Colliers
Location : Antwerp
Year of completion : 2026
For the IT department of Digipolis, around 6,000 m² of office space at Den Bell has been transformed into a contemporary and futureproof workspace for approximately 400 employees.
What makes this project particularly meaningful is the long-term partnership behind it: after delivering the original office fit-out in 2008–2009, Beddeleem was once again entrusted with renewing the workspace, this time with a strong focus on sustainability and circularity.
A concrete example of this approach is the reuse of 400 m² of existing JB 2000 partitions: carefully dismantled, adapted and reinstalled. Part of the panels was upgraded with a contemporary wood-look finish, adding extra warmth and character to the office environment.
Part of the existing loose JB OFFICE furniture was also reintegrated into the new layout.
Beddeleem’s scope included:
- JB 2000 partitions: dismantling, adapting and reinstalling (Beddeleem Circular)
- JB CUSTOM: bespoke furniture
- JB OFFICE: JB DESK, seating furniture and integrated green elements (SIT&FEEL)
- JB ABSORB: acoustic solutions
- Other fit-out: painting, floor finishes, wall graphics and technical adjustments
Spread across five floors, the renewed working environment is fully designed according to the principles of Activity Based Working: an intuitive, dynamic and futureproof workplace concept offering a wide variety of work settings: from flexible desks and focus zones to co-working areas, brainstorming spaces, technical workstations, meeting zones and informal meeting places.
