Novocure’s New Global Headquarters in Baar: A beacon of Innovation, Sustainability and Modular design
Novocure, a global oncology company pioneering Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy, has officially opened its new global headquarters in Baar, Canton of Zug, Switzerland.
This milestone not only reflects Novocure’s continued growth and commitment to sustainability, but also showcases the contributions of key partners such as Beddeleem Schweiz, who played a vital role in the building’s interior design by supplying modular and circular partitions.
Sustainability at the Core
The new headquarters is a state-of-the-art facility designed with sustainability and flexibility in mind.
Among its standout features:
- Reversible air-to-water heat pump powered by rooftop solar panels, providing efficient heating and cooling.
- Solar energy generation that reduces reliance on fossil fuels and lowers the building’s carbon footprint.
- A design philosophy centered on minimizing consumption and waste, reflecting Novocure’s dedication to environmental stewardship.
Beddeleem Schweiz: Delivering modular and circular partitions
Beddeleem Schweiz played a key role in the sustainable interior fit-out of the new headquarters, providing relocatable partitions that support sustainable construction principles and enable future spatial adaptability.
Our contribution includes:
- 220 m² of JB PURE 100 installed in the atrium across two floors
- 900 m² of JB 4000 WOOD with a bamboo finish
- 350 m² of JB 2000 metal
A Future-Focused Mission
Novocure’s new headquarters is more than just a building, it’s a symbol of the company’s mission to extend survival in some of the most aggressive forms of cancer. With over 200 employees now based in the greater Zurich area, Novocure is poised for continued expansion, both in terms of geographic reach and therapeutic innovation.
