Beddeleem is a finishing construction company which celebrated its sixtieth anniversary in 2010 and specialises in the manufacture and installation of relocatable partitions, suspended ceilings, gypsum board partitions, modular office furniture systems, as well as in general finishing. Beddeleem originally developed from the plastering company founded in 1950 by Jos Beddeleem in Ghent. There was an initial growth-spurt early in the sixties when the company became increasingly orientated towards new techniques such as system ceilings and fixed partitions.
As from 1980 Beddeleem started to develop a new speciality: relocatable partition walls. Initially with the aid of external manufacturers, but from 1987 onwards by way of in-house production under the brand name JB®. Within its range of products Beddeleem endeavours to deliver a high-quality product with a wide range of finishes and colours, all manufactured, delivered and installed in a minimum amount of time.
During the construction industry holidays in 2002, Beddeleem moved to the 'De Prijkels' Industrial area in Nazareth, where it now has a floor area of 43,000 m². Beddeleem carries out multiple orders both at home and abroad, for national and European government institutions as well as for private companies.
Beddeleem has its own offices and a showroom in Brussels and Paris. It’s solid team of 150 employees represents an annual turnover of about 40 million €.
